27 Night Watch Night Watch, encapsulating scientific theories such as time travel and quantum physics, sees Commander Vimes chasing a vile criminal to an earlier Ankh Morprok, via a time anomaly, where he adopts the identity of John Keel. As the historical figure of John Keel he sets to work establishing some of the Watch’s codes of conduct that will come to fruition in his own time in the future, teaching his younger self everything he knows. In this time of old Ankh Morpork, just before a revolution, the Watch is very different, primitive and darker.
