This Discworld novel, based in Ankh Morpork with some of the Watch, introduces us to a new character, William de Word who, through no fault of his own, introduces the world of newspapers and journalism to the unprepared Ankh Morporkians. William becomes entangled with some unsavoury characters who want him dead, while all he wants is to find the truth. This is a very easy, interesting read with a well thought out storyline.
