      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Does anyone know why Monstrous Regiment isnt available in the black cover edition that most of the others are?. I&#039;d really like to get the book but i have all the other Discworld novels in the black covers (barring Eric which also isnt available and Night Watch and Making Money which come out in the black covers in May). <br />

There is a listing for the black edition on Amazon which says it came out in June 2007 but offers no explanation as to why it isnt available or to when this might change....<br />

Monstrous Regiment. It has it&#039;s redeeming qualities. It looked like a very good book, during the first third of it. It had good particulars, the little things that Pratchett is very good at.<br />

The main thing which turned me off Monstrous Regiment was the cheesy joke which ran along with the main plot, and I feel that it tarnished much of...<br />

I have always loved Holly Wood, or at least the idea of it, and this was one great book. It mirrored our world really, about how people act differently there and I loved all the little nudges towards our movies, Blown Away, haha.<br />
