Granny and Nanny are a double act that bounce off each other. Tiffany .........As of yet I&#039;m not a fan but I&#039;m happy wait and see. <br />

Who is Destiny?  One of the Anthropomorphic Personifications or Gods, presumably, but what is his/her function?  Apparently not Fate, because in WS, talking to King Verence Death refers to &quot;FATE.  DESTINY.  ALL THE REST OF THEM&quot; leaving him to pass on the news that the King is to become a ghost.  I&#039;m sure there&#039;s another quote whether Death refers to having an appointment with Destiny.  So,...<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[When reading all of the Discworld books, I decided to leave out the Witch series at first, because I didn&#039;t find Equal Rites to be particualrly brilliant in comparison to the other books written by Mr. Pratchett (though it was still very good).<br />
<br />
But when I ran out of Discworld books, I decided to give the rest of the Witch Series a try and that was a good decision, because they stood up far better than I thought they would. <br />
<br />
In fact in some ways, I think they are better than the Death...<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[I re-read CJ a while back and I&#039;ve come to believe that the dialog between these two characters is the finest Pratchett has ever wrote.<br />
<br />
 He manages to cover such deep ideas in just a handfull of stentances. I love the way that Granny seemed to turn whatever Oats said or believed on his head with one simple line.  I loved the way the characters interacted with each other. This was definalty the best section of the book and i think one of the best ever.<br />
